Late blows lead to Mets sweep
Two late walk-off wins in a recent sweep by the New York Mets could also have seen Philadelphia win their road trip by four games to three.
Corey Knebel blew Sunday night's save chance when he allowed a game-tying home run to rookie Nick Plummer on the first pitch in the bottom of the ninth - it was Plummer's first big-league hit.
Eduardo Escobar then won it in the tenth for the Mets.

Speaking to NBC Philadelphia, Girardi spoke about the pressure on him to keep his job: "Extremely frustrating. I don't worry about my job, I've never worried about my job. I've got to do my job. It's the business of being a manager. I don't worry about it."
Wild card spots still a target
It's a little early to rule the Phillies out of the race for the National League East Division title, despite being so far back from the Mets, who are also without their star pitching in Jacob DeGrom and Max Scherzer.
There are still the three wild card positions to chase, however the Phillies need to start winning as they are 21-27 overall.
Philadelphia starts a home series against the San Francisco Giants this week and welcome back former team skipper Gabe Kapler, who was ironically fired for not winning enough games in 2018 and 2019.
