NCAAB - US Sports: Villanova ready to step up for injured Moore
Villanova guard Chris Arcidiacono says everyone on the team needs to "step up" in the Final Four in the absence of injury victim Justin Moore.
Villanova face Kansas in the semi-finals on Saturday and they are 2.70 to win in the Money Line, while the Jayhawks can be backed at 1.50.
Achilles injury rules Moore out
Moore sustained a torn right Achilles tendon in the closing stages of the Wildcats' Elite Eight win over Houston and has been sidelined indefinitely.
The loss of the 21-year-old shooting guard comes as a huge blow to Villanova, as they have heavily relied on just six players in the majority of their games.
No member of their roster outside of those six has played more than five minutes in any of their last three victories in the NCAA Tournament.

"This is a tough blow for all of us, not just because of the great player Justin is but because of what he means to us as team-mates and coaches," Villanova head coach Jay Wright said in a statement.
"As one of our captains, Justin has been an integral part of our success. He helps our team in so many ways. Every game, he guards the opponent's best scorer and is one of the toughest rebounding guards we have had in our time at Villanova."
Arcidiacono ready to step up
Arcidiacono will take on a bigger role against Kansas in the absence of Moore, but he says the whole team have to take on extra responsibility if they are to reach Monday's Championship Game.
"It's not just on me, the whole team's gotta step up and do a little bit," he said, via the New York Post. "It's gonna take a little bit of everyone to lift up what we're missing out without having Justin.
"We love him very much and we feel horrible for him, but we know that he's got our back and we're always gonna have his back."
